To help us resolve your issue quickly, please include:
- Your device model and operating system version
- The Voxminder app version (shown at the bottom of Settings)
- The date and approximate time the issue occurred
- A short description of what you were doing, and a screenshot if possible
Subscriptions and billing
Voxminder subscriptions are billed directly through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not process or store your payment information.
Manage or cancel on iOS
Open the Settings app, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, then select Voxminder. From there you can cancel, change your plan, or see your renewal date.
Manage or cancel on Android
Open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, go to Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, and select Voxminder.
Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google, not by us. You can request a refund through reportaproblem.apple.com for iOS, or through your order history in the Google Play Store for Android. If you believe you were charged in error, write to us at support@voxminder.com and we will do our best to help.
Frequently asked questions
Is my voice recording stored anywhere?
No. When you record a reminder, the audio is sent to our backend only to be transcribed into text. It is deleted from the server immediately after transcription finishes. Your reminders themselves are stored only on your device. See the Privacy Policy for the full details.
Do I need an account to use Voxminder?
No account, no sign up, no email required. Open the app and start speaking. An active subscription is required to continue using the app after your introductory period.
Why does Voxminder need microphone and notification access?
The microphone is used to capture the reminder you speak. Notifications are how Voxminder nudges you at the right moment. If either permission is denied, the app cannot record new reminders or alert you when one is due. You can review permissions at any time in your device settings.
What recurring patterns does Voxminder support?
Voxminder supports daily reminders and weekday based reminders (for example Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). Monthly and custom interval patterns are not currently supported. For those, we recommend setting a one time reminder each time you need it.
What is Nudge mode?
When Nudge mode is turned on for a reminder, Voxminder keeps pinging you every 10 minutes until you mark the reminder as done. It is useful for things you really cannot afford to forget. You can turn it on or off for each reminder individually.
Does Voxminder work offline?
Scheduled reminders fire offline because they live on your device. However, creating a new reminder by voice requires an internet connection so that the audio can be transcribed. You can always add a reminder manually if you are offline.
How do I delete my data?
All of your reminders live on your device. Uninstalling Voxminder removes them. Since we do not store reminders or account data on our servers, there is nothing else to delete on our side.
