Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Voxminder mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. Voxminder is operated by Decantech (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
2. Description of Service
Voxminder is a voice-powered reminder application available on iOS and Android. The App allows you to create reminders by speaking naturally or by manual entry. Your voice input is processed using artificial intelligence to transcribe and interpret your reminders. The App supports one-time and recurring reminders (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) as well as persistent nudge notifications to help you follow through. All reminder data is stored locally on your device. The App does not require or create user accounts.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use this App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's consent to use the App.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
Voxminder offers both free and premium features. A free trial period may be available for new users. After the trial period ends, a paid subscription is required to continue using premium features such as unlimited voice reminders.
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your platform. Payment will be charged to your App Store or Play Store account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscription through your device's App Store or Play Store settings.
Refunds are subject to the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not process refunds directly.
5. AI-Powered Features Disclaimer
Voxminder uses third-party AI services (including OpenAI) to transcribe and interpret your voice input. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated transcriptions and reminder interpretations are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or error-free.
You are responsible for reviewing and confirming the reminders created from your voice input before saving them. We are not liable for any missed, incorrect, or misinterpreted reminders resulting from AI processing.
Voice audio is sent to our server for processing and is deleted immediately after transcription is complete. We do not store, retain, or listen to your audio recordings.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure.
- Use automated means to access the App beyond its intended functionality.
- Transmit harmful, abusive, or objectionable content through the voice input feature.
7. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, code, and content, is the property of Decantech and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on the App.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times, that it will be free of errors or interruptions, or that reminders will always be delivered accurately or on time. Notification delivery depends on your device's operating system and settings.
Because reminders are stored locally on your device, we are not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, operating system updates, app deletion, or any other cause.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Decantech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to missed reminders, lost data, or inaccurate AI transcriptions. Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device and cancelling any active subscriptions through your App Store or Play Store settings.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Effective date” at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
